Madeline Island Golf Club is set on the largest of Lake Superior’s 22 Apostle Islands – located across from the town of Bayfield, Wisconsin and 85 miles east of Duluth, Minnesota. Take a twenty minute ride on the Madeline Island Ferry across the North Channel and drive just a mile up Old Fort Road to this unique Robert Trent Jones Sr. layout.
Set amidst a beautiful forest teaming with wildlife, the course features huge double greens and rolling topography. Robert Trent Jones Sr. fashioned the design with interesting holes such as 6/15 which shares a fairway that eventually splits off into doglegs in opposite directions. The course will delight novice players and yet challenge those more skilled.
